Where does the time go!

All of sudden fall is here and I don't know where the summer went! My kids are in school and I really do enjoy spending the time with Jaden. He starts school next week and I think he is definitely ready! The weeks have definitely been busy and we have been blessed to have wonderful people come and stay for visits. We would enjoy anyone else who like to come also.
So I had my first shot in the dark this week. I have never tried to do creative things with newborns and it did not go quite as planned. I actually dyed the baby's skin orange. (don't even ask) I am actually nervous to give the mom the shots!

Boy this was a beautiful baby! I hope that I get to keep practicing my skills with these cute little ones. I have so much still to learn!

I just recently took to the park to take these pictures of this adorable little girl. I think her parents were nervous at first at how she would sit and look pretty. Instead I let her run around and try to grab as many as I could. The parents were really great and I think that we all had a good time. Here is a little sneak peek for the parents. I was so excited about these that I took a few moments to process some really quickly.

I hope everyone has a great labor day !

So much fun!

So I am having so much creative fun with the pictures I am taking lately. Found a place that restored old cars and they were everywhere. I love the cars with Seniors. This is just a little sneak peak at Zach's shots

!

Since I got kicked out of my favorite place I was a little worried. I also had never taken an older boys photos before so it took me a little while to get the hang of it. I don't know if I ever did but I gave it a good effort!

I cannot believe school starts next week. I am ready for some type of schedule but I sure will miss having the kids running around. Jaden will be gone three days a week and it just makes me sad. The other day he asked Carson "Do you find me attractive." I mean who could do without all the witty things he says all day!

ooh I love a newborn!

So the first time ever to shoot a newbie. Just around two hours old. I did have to sit and just hold her for a while but I really loved every minute! I cannot wait to take more pictures of this little one!

These are the times I love being a photographer! Thank you guys so much for letting me be a part of your day!

So I am finally rested up from a week of camp and I am off for new adventures this week. I am trying to keep my blog updated a little more so we will see if I can keep it up. I am not the best blogger in the world but I love being able to show all the wonderful and inspirational people that I meet through photography!

Got caught trespassing!!!

So my life is not that exciting but this week while taking pictures I was kicked out of my favorite spot to take pictures! I have not been this bummed about something in a long time. It was my favorite, beautiful texture, beautiful light and just my favorite. I am going to have to find a new place and it will not be easy! So these are some of my last shots in this place unless I love it so much that I am willing to risk jail.

This family is so cute and I wish I could have gotten about a billion more! Thanks guys for letting me take your pictures. Here is just a little sample of what I have gotten so far

!

So I am off to camp with the girls for the rest of the week. Very excited! It is Carly's first year! She packed about a week ago if that gives you any idea of her excitement! And for those of you dropping by and not leaving a comment and you know who you are. Where is the love?

I love Seniors!

Lindsey, Lindsey, Lindsey!!!!!

Always wanted to take pictures in a grassy field and now I have accomplished my goal. I had beautiful light and a lot of helpers holding reflectors. I never knew how much work went into a really good shot. I used to hear from other photographers to set up your shot and make it work for you. So I guess just hoping that pictures turn out doesn't really work.

I have to admit that I love to take Senior portraits. It allows me to express myself creativly and have so much fun. They are up for anything. Stand here, put your hand here or lay down here. This one was especially fun because she is such a fun girl. I love taking Lindsey's pictures because she just radiates. It helps that she is so gorgeous! This time I had lots of help from my fabulous friend Barb who helped pick out the clothes to Joella who helped with the makeup, it just was perfect

!

I think this was my favorite of the day. I am experimenting with light and it really seems to be working out for me. The red dress helps a lot!

Lindsey was one of my two senior spotlights for this year. I hope that she had as much fun as I did. There have been so many times where I have wanted to put down my camera and not take pictures anymore because of the time and energy that it takes. I just can't. I think about it at night and in the morning and when I am driving down the road. I hope this drive never goes away. I am going to start taking this little interest of mine to the next step so wish me luck!!
